Welcome to Manicure for a Cure! We appreciate your participation and support!

Do you love getting your nails done, but wish you didn't have to leave campus? Feeling like you need pampering? Now you can be proud of your favorite guilty pleasure... At Manicure for a Cure, you can help raise money for breast cancer research and awareness while giving your hands a treat!

Manicure for a Cure is a fundraiser to benefit the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Sharsheret, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the unique challenges facing young Jewish women living with breast cancer.

Manicurists from the Paul Mitchell School, a well known beauty school, will be donating their time, giving manicures throughout the day. Not only will you receive a relaxing and beautiful manicure for your donation, but you will also have the opportunity to learn about breast cancer prevention and listen to a survivor's experience.

LaShaune Johnson, our guest speaker, is a lymphoma and breast cancer survivor. For the past two years, she has been an active volunteer in the Philadelphia breast cancer community. LeShaune has spoken about breast cancer in All You magazine and on the Philadelphia-area NBC affiliate. In addition to presenting about breast cancer and breast health, she will be available for a Q & A session.

Manicures are available for $12 (WhoCash, cash or checks only, please!)
If you do not want to get a manicure, but would still like to support this great cause, please feel free to stop by the event and make a donation.
